System Control

We do not recommend that any end users use a login which has administrative access.  When we setup the machine, we will create two accounts, a user account and an administrative account.  You will have access to the administrative account should you wish to install any of your own software although we recommend not utilizing this account for anything other than installing software.

As an administrator, you have the ability to uninstall our software. When you do so, you lose protection and any guarantees which may be provided. If you do so within the first year of operation, you will still be responsible for the completion of the first year of service.

In order to keep this computer affordable, we do not install any software which requires a paid license such as Microsoft Office. However, we do include the following applications which are free to install and use:

  • Microsoft Edge
  • Google Chrome
  • Windows Mail
  • Adobe Reader
  • LibreOffice (compatible with Microsoft Office®)
  • Zoom
